Captains Log
August 5th, 2015
Windspeed: Full Open, Status: Squished, Mood: annoyed

The day has finally come and I have begun my journey. After a brief stay in the Capital I have today departed on the real start of my travels. My airship departed form the great capital port of Dullas which is large enough to accommodate the great ships which are needed to cross the ocean. Security measures which have been strict ever since the infamous hijackings several years ago and seemed to take a life time. I felt saturated by the heat and smells of hundreds of people as I stood in line but then I began to hear the multitudes of languages been spoken and saw the diversity of those who stood beside me. A bit of the fascination and excitement began to seep into my soul making the wait much more pleasant then it would have been otherwise. Finally through, I made my way to my dock just as they began to take on passengers. I then decided to recreate my experience of a musical takeoff since I had found it so enjoyable last time, and we drifted into the sky just as the countdown David Bowie’s masterpiece ‘Ground Control to Major Tom’ reached One.
